Mission Statement

The Burlington Humane Society is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to the care and protection of the stray and abandoned animals in the Burlington area, operating solely on the generosity of our community.

Description

The Burlington Humane Society is a no-kill animal shelter for cat and dogs operating in Burlington, Ontario. Funding for support services for abandoned animals comes from the generosity of donors, adoption fees and from the proceeds of a second hand store we operate. With a staff and board of volunteers, we are looking to expand our operations with a new building to address the growing demands of the Burlington community.
