Mission Statement

The Mission of the Walkerton & District Health Services Foundation is to encourage and facilitate citizens and service groups to financially support OUR local hospital. The Foundation will receive, acknowledge and utilize the funds raised to assist in the purchase of equipment, support patient programs and provide health related education to our community. The Foundation will diligently maintain a reserve fund to provide investment income that enables continuity of its services in the future.

Description

The Walkerton & District Hospital Foundation was incorporated in 1994 as a not-for-profit charitable organization. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors that represent the people of Walkerton and surrounding communities. The sole purpose of the Foundation is to raise funds for the benefit of our local hospital. We are here for you today and will continue to be here tomorrow. We will work our hardest to ensure that you, your family, and the entire community has the best possible health care facilities and services. We strive to provide great healthcare for all our patients close to home.
