Mission Statement

The aims and objectives of the Academy are:
1.To advance and teach the religious tenets, doctrines, observances and culture associated with the Islamic faith, according to the Shi`ah Ithnaa `Ashari school of thought;
2.To establish and maintain a religious school of instruction for children, youth and adults;
3. To provide counseling services and maintain outreach programs, according to the Islamic faith, to persons experiencing religious and social problems

Description

The Academy for Learning for Islam (ALI) is a non-profit registered charitable organization based in Richmond, British Columbia, Canada. It aims at advancing religious and educational values of Islam according to the Shi'ah Ithna 'Ashari school of thought. It maintains a religious school of instruction for children, youths and adults. The Academy also provides counseling services and Islamic outreach programs to people experiencing religious and social problems.
