The Halton Organization for Pride and Education (HOPE) is a volunteer organization, endorsed by the Halton Regional Council since 1998. HOPE is dedicated to raising awareness about issues of homophobia and discrimination based on gender identity and sexual orientation in the Halton region, using an educational and human rights-focused approach. HOPE is also committed to providing accountable and relevant social services for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual, Transgender, Two-Spirited and Queer communities of Halton.

Our programs include: Three LGBTQA Youth Support & Social peer groups which meet monthly in Burlington, Oakville, and Halton Hills, our annual Halton Pride festival, Postive Space Training, social networking, LGBTQA parenting networks, guest speaking and guest columist articles.
