Our focus remains on student support and advancing corrosion education.

The NACE Foundation of Canada makes travel funds available for students to attend NACE conferences. We support awards for student presentations at conferences. 

Building on the initiative of the NACE Canadian National Capital Section in establishing a corrosion course at Carleton University in Ottawa in 2005, we are supporting the purchase of equipment for studying corrosion of steel reinforcements in concrete. The modular design will make it possible to replicate these facilities at other laboratories where they can be used for educational purposes. 

We are initiating a Research Award for innovative and short-term research targeted at reducing the cost of corrosion.

In partnership with the ASM Materials Education Foundation, we organize materials workshops at teacher conferences and week-long Materials Camps in Ontario and Ottawa.
