Wishing Wells is a continuation of one man's work - Fr Boniface Mendes, who worked tirelessly to improve the lives of the poor and died suddenly in 1998. In 2000, Wishing Wells held its first fundraising concert in memory of him, raising enough money to dig a village well in Karivde, India. We continue  to work with local, on the ground partners to provide suatainable community water systems.

Wishing Wells Society is a registered Canadian charity with a local board of directors based in St. Andrews, Antigonish County, Nova Scotia.
