About World Accord

For over 45 years, World Accord has been actively involved in successful international development projects and programs around the world. At World Accord, we deeply believe that effective international development begins at the local level and is articulated by the local level, with the goal of cultivating sustainable and resilient autonomy within communities. To achieve this, we partner with established local organizations already working effectively at the grassroots level in our program countries and ensure the knowledge and expertise of our program partners is at the centre of the work. This successful, collaborative approach is built on due diligence, mutual trust and continuous effective dialogue – a process that delivers diverse, highly targeted development activities that respond to the unique needs, capacities, and goals of specific communities in their own environments. World Accord's ultimate goal is to help communities thrive and become so resilient and autonomous that our support is no longer needed.
