Mission Statement
The Chilliwack Museum and Archives collects and preserves the history of the Chilliwack area. School and programs are offered to the community. Exhibits change frequently and include themed shows and art shows. The association has a web site with a searchable database that allows visitors to search the large photo collection as well as the enire object collection.
Description
The museum is located in downtown Chilliwack in Chilliwack's only National Historic Site, the former City Hall building. The building houses administrative offices, exhibits and meeting space. The archives are located in a separate but nearby building. Here, the community records are kept and are available to the community and researchers.
