Description

Aspen is an innovative, community-driven social service agency helping Calgarians since 1984.

We do things differently, by helping people build on their core strengths and connect with communities that are meaningful to them.

We do more than just help people cope with immediate problems. We work with them to build rewarding, engaged and independent lives for themselves and their families. We don’t put a bandage on the problem; we fix it for good.

Aspen serves more than 6,000 children, teens, adults and families every year in 167 communities across Calgary. Over 90% of our clients say our services have helped them live successfully on their own.

With the support of our funders, partners, government, sponsors and donors, Aspen is breaking the cycle of poverty by helping people create better lives.
