To provide a range of high quality mental health services for children, youth and their families who are experiencing, or may experience, serious emotional difficulties.

Description

Founded in 1985, Peel Children's Centre (PCC) is a fully accredited, not-for-profit community-based children's mental health agency that helps children, youth and their families who are struggling with serious emotional or behavioural difficulties.

Each year, PCC provides approximately 6650 treatment services, free of charge, to children and youth who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bullying, physical or sexual abuse, self-harm and more. Our services include coordinated centralized intake, 24/7 crisis support, comprehensive clinical assessments, community-based outreach and court preparation. Individual and group counselling is offered at our offices, in the home, in the school and through our residential and day treatment programs.
