1. To deliver community programs that enhance the health and wellness of queer people and celebrate queer culture.
2. To provide education, training and resources on queer issues.
3. To advocate for queer people and our communities through increased visibility, individual support, and information and referrals.
Description
QMUNITY (BC's Queer Resource Centre) serves and supports lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer people and their allies. QMUNITY contributes to the health and well-being of LGBTQ communities through information and referral, education, coming-out groups, social support, recovery meetings, counselling, and community development.
Programs at QMUNITY include:
Education/Outreach, Gab Youth, Generations Program for Aging and Older LGTB People, LGTB Victim Services, Out on the Shelves Library, Prideline (LGTB local and Province wide info & support line) and Volunteer Services.
