Mission Statement

The Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson's Centre promotes health by:
a) providing a full range of education and other professional services in order to strengthen clients' and families' ability to manage the physical and psycho-social effects of their condition,
b) increasing public understanding of these conditions to improve the public's knowledge as well as to reduce the stigma associated with these conditions
c) collaborating with health and social service providers to maximize overall care and benefits to mutual clients
d) expanding awareness of the agency and its services to gain greater public support and increase our capacity to serve

Description

The Victoria Epilepsy and Parkinson's Centre is a dual service agency which provides professional education and consultation services. Epilepsy and Parkinson's are not related conditions however a central administration serving both groups is an effective way to cut unnecessary costs and better direct resources to clientele.
