RainCity Housing and Support Society is a leading provider of housing for the homeless in Vancouver. It is a grassroots organization built around compassion, purpose and a commitment to delivering progressive housing and support solutions for people living with mental illness, addictions and other challenges.
RainCity Housing and Support Society is a grassroots not-for profit organization providing emergency shelter, housing and support services to people in the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver, B.C. In general, our tenants and clients live with the realities of mental and physical health issues, substance use and/or extreme poverty. We provide a safe, supportive environment, while working to build stability and develop and implement a plan for the future.
RainCity Housing operates a total of 12 programs ranging from low barrier (historically people who have been chronically homeless and who experience mental and physical health issues) to substance free supported housing for more stabilized individuals.
