Our Mission
To encourage audiences to discover new musical forms and to experience the richness and diversity of music of many peoples and cultures as well as the richness of our own community, province and country; to balance the new and daring with brilliant reflections of familiar sounds and traditions; and bring it all together in a festival that works in the small town of Mission on a weekend in July - this is the artistic vision of the Mission Folk Music Festival.
