Description
Sustainable Food Edmonton is a non-profit charitable organization that has gone through transitions over its 22 year history. Originally established in 1989 as the Personal Community Support Association of Alberta, it changed course in the 1990’s; moving towards a path of working on outreach and learning opportunities around food and sustainability. In the last couple of years, they have worked with and eventually absorbed complementary organizations like the Community Garden Network and Just Food Edmonton. This year, they also changed their name to better reflect the organization they have become in offering the programs of Little Green Thumbs, Community Gardens, and Cityfarm.
