Working with the community, to provide services and support to abused women and their children and to provide opportunities to end violence against women

Description

We are the only agency in the City of Kawartha Lakes that provides shelter and counselling services to women and their children. We have a 24 hour crisis line, an 18 bed emergency shelter, an 8 unit apartment complex (rent geared to income) and a gently used clothing store. We have an Outreach counselling program, a Child Witness program, a Community Support program, and a Teen Counselling program for both male and female youths.
