About Giving

If you are planning on making a donation to the Sunshine Fund, you can do so either online https://www.mbcamping.ca/donate, by sending a cheque to our office or by calling in a credit card number 204-784-1130.

Your donation will ensure the continuation of the work we do for our camps by the Manitoba Camping Association and for rent, utility bills, salaries, other expenses. We need to continue to operate (remotely) to ensure we can successfully help kids when this crisis is over.

Your donation will help send a child to camp. 

Our Mission

Our mission is to help send children and youth to camp.

These children are from families who experience financial barriers that prevent them from participating in healthy recreation activities. 

One in 4 children in Manitoba live below the poverty line which means healthy recreation opportunities are very difficult to access which is why programs like ours are necessary. 

About Our Charity

Camp should be one of the most exciting times in a child’s life, yet due to financial barriers so many children in Manitoba are unable to participate.

The Manitoba Camping Association and Sunshine Fund provide over 600 children from financially disadvantaged families the opportunity to experience camp each summer.
