Mission Statement

SUCO develops projects in partnership with non-governmental organizations in Nicaragua, Peru, Mali and Haïti. In the field, the realized work results of a narrow collaboration between local partners, local organizations, local employees from SUCO offices and SUCO’s volounteer cooperants. SUCO grants a major place to: women’s role in development, protection of the environment in a perspective of sustainable development, public sensibilization to international solidarity.

Description

SUCO [Solidarité Union Coopération] is an organization of cooperation and international solidarity, founded in 1961 and located in Montreal. SUCO’s principal mission is the promotion of solidarity between people to create a reciprocal support to their development, and the joint search for a new international order founded on justice and equal proceeds.
