Our Mission

Each year, 300 women come to us in search of a safe refuge and a listening ear and they find both thanks to the dedication of 40 professionals who keep the shelter running day and night, 365 days a year. Because a shelter never sleeps.

We are extremely proud to offer a warm and caring environment to women who have been involved with the youth protection system, those fleeing domestic violence, seniors who have lost their housing, and asylum seekers in search of a brighter future.

You, too, can be proud to help us meet the essential needs of this often-overlooked population.

A donation of $500 provides three meals and a snack per day for one woman over a six-week stay. A donation of $700 covers the monthly transportation costs for women without income who must travel across the city to attend appointments and complete important administrative steps. A donation of $1,000 supports the monthly cost of supplies for activities and art workshops offered to the women.
