Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region Inc. is a team of enthusiastic volunteers and staff, guided by Christian values, who are committed to assisting families in need with the life- changing opportunity of buying decent, affordable housing.

Description

Habitat for Humanity was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller. Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry seeking to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness worldwide and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. Habitat invites people from a broad spectrum of social, ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds to work in partnership to build homes and hope with families in need.
