Mission Statement

Celebrating its 2th season, Roseneath Theatre is Ontario’s largest professional touring theatre reaching an annual audience of up to 100,000 young people and their families all over Ontario, Canada and the United States. Our work receives operating funding from arts councils at all three levels of government as well as receiving major projects grants (over $100,000) from the Ontario Teacher’s Federation, the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario, the Trillium Foundation and the Metcalfe Foundation. The company has earned a world wide reputation for artistic excellence by developing and producing high end, small cast productions that tour with a fully designed set. The company has received 24 professional awards or award nominations,. Next to artistic quality, audience accessability - geographical and financial – is our other core value. We are the only theatre to have performed in every school district in Ontario accessible by road for a cost to schools of only $2.40 per student. These outstanding results make Roseneath Theatre the industry leader in our province and one of the top touring Theatre for Young Audiences in North America.

Roseneath Theatre’s mission is to create and produce high quality Canadian theatre for youth and family audiences. We produce popular theatre that has artistic, personal, and social integrity using all the resources at our disposal for the largest possible audience.
