about

Our Mission

We strive to provide collaborative resident- and community-based palliative care alongside our partners, clients, and families, ensuring a personal, dignified, and meaningful palliative experience.

About Carpenter Hospice

Nestled in a quiet neighbourhood and surrounded by a serene, park-like setting, Carpenter Hospice has been a comforting home away from home for individuals in need of palliative care support since 2002.

We offer in-hospice care for people in the final stages of life, as well as community-based programs for those living with life-limiting illnesses or navigating grief. In our care, residents spend their final days surrounded by love, comfort, and dignity in a meaningful, supportive environment.

Carpenter Hospice features 11 private rooms, each designed to feel like home. Nursing and personal support staff are available around the clock, every day of the week. We offer fresh, home-cooked meals, welcoming sitting areas, quiet rooms, private patios, and beautifully landscaped outdoor spaces for rest and reflection.

Our dedicated team of professionals and volunteers provides personalized, compassionate care tailored to each individual’s needs. At Carpenter Hospice, every moment is cherished, every story respected, and every life celebrated.

The Hospice receives partial funding from the Ministry of Health. It relies on donors and community fundraising for the majority of its operational revenue to continue providing services to individuals with life-limiting illness and their families at no cost.

We are here when you need us. You’ll find a hand to hold, a shoulder to lean on, and someone who listens.

Together in Care – one mission, many hands.
