As Canada's leading colorectal cancer not for profit organization, CCC is dedicated to the prevention and treatment of colorectal cancer through awareness and education. Supporting patients and their families and advocating on their behalf is the corner stone of our charity!

As a patient organization, we understand the broad range of biopsychosocial needs of those touched by the disease. Our support services provide a safe space for patients and their loved ones to learn about the disease and what they can expect throughout their experience.

Since each person’s experience is unique, we offer one-on-one phone or virtual consults to address individual questions and concerns and focus on how we can best guide them along their journey. 

Our team aspires to reduce the incidence and mortality of colorectal cancer in Canada while improving the quality of life of patients and their families. Through our Never Too Young (N2Y) initiative, we are sounding the alarm on a growing public health crisis: the rise of colorectal cancer in Canadians under 50 - and urging health authorities across the country to lower the colorectal cancer screening age to 45 in order to detect cancer earlier, save lives, and align with global best practices. 

Through our Screen at 45 national advocacy campaign, we are not only pushing for urgent policy change, but also to educate Canadians about the signs and symptoms of colorectal cancer, the importance of knowing their family medical history, and the lifestyle factors that may increase risk.
