The fully volunteer-run Halifax West Ecumenical Food Bank Association, founded in 1993, operates a weekly food and grocery distribution in the Halifax West area. In 2024, approximately 15,000 clients were served. In addition to food receipts from Feed Nova Scotia, our operations are fully funded through our member churches and congregations with additional support from the community and area governments.
