Northumberland United Way's Mission is to create a lasting positive impact in Northumberland County through leadership and partnerships that mobilize resources in response to human and social priorities. Our Vision is an enhanced quality of life for everyone in Northumberland County.

Description

Northumberland United Way has 3 funding priorities: From Poverty to Possibility; Healthy People, Strong Communities; and All That Kids Can Be. We have 13 member agencies (Red Cross, Community Living, Help Centre, Kawartha Sexual Assault, Kinark Child & Family Services, Learning Disabilities, Big Sisters Big Brothers, Northumberland Community Counselling Ctr, Northumberland Services for Women, READ Centre, St. John Ambulance, VON, and YMCA Northumberland) and provide various programs and services throughout the county, including info Northumberland, Food 4 All Warehouse (in partnership with Northumberland County), Greenwood Initiative, Back Pack Program, Leadership Development, and more.
