About THE PERTH AND DISTRICT COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
Founded in 2002, the PDCF builds community in the Town of Perth, the Townships of Tay Valley, Lanark Highlands and Drummond/North Elmsley.
We do this by:
~ encouraging donors to contribute in ways that will create a healthy, inclusive and equitable community
~ investing endowed funds strategically and ethically
~ using a percentage of the funds' earnings to provide grants to support a broad range of community needs while maintaining and expanding endowed funds for future generations.
~ facilitating capacity-building and collaboration among various community-based organizations in order to enable a coordinated, integrated approach to community enhancement.
~ working in consultation with other community foundations across Canada through our membership in Community Foundations of Canada.
