Our Mission
Wild at Heart Refuge Centre will promote wildlife conservation by providing veterinary care and rehabilitation to injured, sick or orphaned wildlife in Northern Ontario with the goal of releasing rehabilitated animals back into the wild. In addition, we will strive to increase public understanding of wildlife issues through courses, seminars, school programs and media events and will conduct research relating to the care and rehabilitation of wildlife and disseminate the results.
About WILD AT HEART REFUGE CENTRE
The Wild at Heart Refuge Centre provides veterinary treatment and rehabilitation to injured, sick or orphaned wildlife from Northern Ontario. Rehabilitated animals are released back into the wild. We currently treat 200-400 wild animals per year.
