Mission Statement

We encourage and facilitate the domestic adoption of abandoned babies in the Philippines.

We are only involved with domestic adoptions...many other fine agencies provide information and assistance to people planning international adoptions.

Our goal is to reach the point where there will be many more families in the Philippines waiting to adopt babies, than babies waiting for adoptive parents.

Description

We have run two programs in the Philippines.

The first, a demonstration program, was situated in Bacolod City, where we have helped create permanent, loving homes for 70 abandoned infants. We have also helped the parents to create their own support group.

We are also created a similar program in Manila, in partnership with Norfil Foundation, Inc., a Philippine family services agency.

Our costs are in the order of $C200-300 per baby placed. We encourage and facilitate the process through the direct engagement of a professional social worker. The families are only responsible for their legal costs in finalizing the adoption.

We also work with Philippine media to help Filipinos view adoption as a loving strategy in family formation.
