Our Mission
Employing themes of vision and perception, Vision Impure seeks a performance language which seeks to lay bare the intricacies of human relationships and the dynamic tension that moves us. Vision Impure reflects upon, and projects outwardly, the intimate concerns, ideas and attitudes that impact and shape our relationships to ourselves and each other, locating a sense of conscience and hope through intense physicality and deeply sought courage. Through its artistic collaborations the company actively reaches out to a diverse audience base in hopes of broadening the performing arts audience. The company seeks to evolve a number of different approaches to the creation and production of dance works in order to address as wide an audience as possible.
I – Creation of new work
II – Multi-disciplinary collaborations
III – Dissemination and alternative forms of distribution
IV – Education and outreach
