Our Mission: 

For more than six decades, Interprovincial Music Camp (IMC) has empowered young Canadian musicians to discover their potential, their community, and their lifelong love of music.

IMC provides exceptional musical training within an inspiring residential summer camp environment where young people do far more than rehearse and perform, they grow. Campers strengthen their technical skills, build artistic confidence, and collaborate with peers from across Canada. 

Music at IMC is transformative. It fosters discipline, teamwork, self-expression, and encourages all qualities that shape lives far beyond the stage. IMC is a place where young musicians find friends for life.

IMC’s faculty includes some of Canada’s most accomplished performers and educators. Our instructors come from leading orchestras, universities, and professional ensembles, bringing world-class expertise to every rehearsal, lesson, and masterclass.

Set within one of Canada’s premier summer camp facilities, IMC blends artistic excellence with the magic of a traditional camp experience. Campers rehearse in purpose-built music facilities, perform in fully staged concerts, and enjoy outdoor recreation, waterfront activities, and community-building traditions that create friendships lasting a lifetime.
