Mission Statement

Rights Action:

1. Provides funds directly to over 50 community based Development, Disaster Relief, Environmental and Human Rights projects in Guatemala and Honduras, as well as in Chiapas, El Salvador, Peru and Costa Rica.

2. Builds alliances for global justice and equality and defense of the environment and strengthens community Development, Disaster Relief, Environment and Human Rights organizations and projects both inside countries, regionally, and north-south.

3. Carries out education & activist work with our partner groups in the countries we work in, and in the US & Canada, about the global issues we work on, and about how citizens and organizations can get involved and work on these issues.
