Who Are We?
Since, 2001, the Greater Ontario House of Prayer (GOHOP) has served the body of Christ across Southern Ontario, developing prayer leaders and interdenominational prayer initiatives. In 2011, GOHOP relocated to the urban core of Hamilton and is developing an Urban Monastery
What is an Urban Monastery?
An Urban Monastery is a community committed to the exploration and development of New Monasticism. This includes a focus on intentional community, rhythms of prayer and contemplation, the practice of hospitality, and practical engagement in mission.
