Mission Statement

Matthews House Hospice is a community based charitable organization serving the New Tecumseth and South Simcoe area, providing non-medical, physical, emotional, social or spiritual support to individuals facing a life-threatening illness (newly diagnosed or undergoing treatment) and for their families and caregivers. We offer support to the bereaved and work cooperatively with physicians, palliative care teams, clergy, and other health service providers in the community.

Description

Programs and services offered at Matthews House include: Playing with Colours, Wellspring Yoga Classes, Garden Club, Dinner Night Out, Matthews House After 7, Bereavement Walk, Caregiver Group, One-on-One Support, Library, Complimentary Therapies and In-Home Non-medical Support. Presentations to the public, the professional community and area schools are available upon request. Matthews House Hospice also provides peer support as needed.
