Or perhaps you are the type of person who doesn't really know what you want to buy, but you know you are hungry; you take your cart, peruse all the items available, choose one or more of them, and maybe even select some for your friends. You could even be the person who only eats one kind of food, and buys the same amount of that food, every month, on the same day.

No matter what type of shopper - or more to the point, what kind of charitable donor you might be - CanadaHelps can accommodate all your giving needs. CanadaHelps knows just how important donors are to charities (as we are a charity ourselves), and how important the charities are to the donors that support them. But today, donors in Canada have unique needs and desires, as all donors are not created equal.

At CanadaHelps, the way you choose to donate to charity is up to you.

You can give when you want, in the amount you wish, to the charities you choose, and in the manner that suits you best. We offer donors the option of browsing causes or areas of interest that are close to their hearts, or the search capacity to find local entities, or even that specific group you support. Donors can give monthly, as well as have the ability to purchase charitable gift cards for family and friends. We ensure a donor's privacy, and strive to meet the needs of today's donor. And we do all of this online.

Making a donation is simple: a donor chooses a charity (or charities), identifies any special requests associated with that gift (memorial designations, specific project requests, frequency of gift, Gift Card, etc.), and begins the checkout (or payment) process. Once the donation has been paid for, the donor receives an immediate, secure PDF tax receipt, issued by CanadaHelps, by email. CanadaHelps then disburses the funds (less a 3% transaction fee) to the designated charity, along with any special requests associated with that gift, and in the manner the donor specified at checkout.
