Our MissionThe Canadian Hemochromatosis Society promotes awareness about this little-known, but common genetic disorder so that early diagnosis will be the rule rather than the exception. We work to strengthen the well-being of Canadians affected by hereditary iron overload through our programs designed to foster awareness and early detection of hemochromatosis. Our goal is to make needless suffering and premature death from undiagnosed hemochromatosis a thing of the past.
