The Vennachar Cemetery Board acts as stewards for the cemetery. As both an active and historical burial ground, there are government-mandated obligations to fulfill; additionally, there are on-going maintenance and insurance requirements. The cemetery has been in use for more than 150 years - it is our history, and we have a duty to respect it.
The Board's annual fundraising drive is in June each year, coinciding with the annual memorial service. By using CanadaHelps.org, we can now accept credit card donations - by making it easier to donate, we hope that this will help renew the donor base.
