The Reel Fun Film Festival is Western Canada's only interactive festival for families aimed at bringing the world to children and youth through the medium of film and film-making.

Founded in 2006, the Festival provides curriculum related screenings and film making workshops to students across southern Alberta as well as public events and screenings for children, youth and family members of all ages.

Unique to the festival is its close association with the film industry, which allows visitors to experience all aspects of the film making process firsthand. From watching International Premieres, live action and animated  features and shorts, to trying your hand at creating a claymation masterpiece or running a real live film camera, the Reel Fun Film Festival has something for film fans of every age.
