When we visit the children and their families annually, the children are given the opportunity and the instructional help to make art, which they love doing! It comes naturally. ABCs and Rice recognizes education as a right that every child should have, as well as the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. </p>\r\n<p><span><span><span><span>W</span>e offer various food programs and free education in English and Khmer to the impoverished children in the Poom Sala, and Kroligne Village area of Siem Reap.</span></span></span></p>\r\n<p><span><span><span><span>F</span>amilies struggle through stifling poverty; in attempts to get at least some of their children an education, often leaving one or more child home to work.
