Please pray for them and all the new believers! </span></em></p>\r\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">For regular updates join our Facebook group at: <a href=\"https://www.facebook.com/groups/740795747047127\">https://www.facebook.com/groups/740795747047127</a></span></em></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\"><strong>The Followers Mission</strong> began in 1992 when following a short term mission trip, the Lord opened the eyes of mission founder <strong>Youngwha Kang</strong> to the needs of the homeless, the lost and the poor in an area of the city known as \"Crack Corner\".</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">What initially started as a weekly outreach with a dozen donuts and a thermos of coffee, eventually became a daily outpouring of God's love for the less fortunate in downtown Toronto at Queen & Sherbourne. </span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">We are a small non-profit group of GTA Christians who have a desire to \"follow\" Jesus' steps by sharing His love with the needy. </span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">Helpers work as <strong>100% volunteers</strong> and are dedicated, many serving for 20 years or more. We thank God for each one of them!</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">Open every week, people can find some coffee or clothing, receive care and prayer support, with special services and events. </span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">Our volunteers are often available to those who are in need, be it a kind word, a prayer, a pair of jeans or even a bite of food at the back door by the kitchen, everyone feels welcome. </span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">We host events each week including serving food right outside our door during an outreach on</span><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\"> Tuesdays about 5:00pm </span></strong><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">where we often provide clothes, socks & shoes, give out Bibles and offer prayer for salvation or whatever need they have.</span></p>\r\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">A healing service is held on Fridays at 7pm</span></strong><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\"> with a special speaker, worship and prayer. A</span><strong><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\"> church service open to the whole community is held on Sunday mornings at 10:30am. </span></strong><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">Both Friday and Sunday services include live worship so we always need volunteer help.</span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">Often on a Saturday during the month an outside church or an organization uses FM for outreaches of love, gifts & blessing. We encourage our partnering churches or groups to participate. </span></p>\r\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10.5pt; font-family: Verdana; color: black;\">The Holy Spirit brings in the people, they receive love, acceptance and over the year’s hundreds have found salvation in Jesus.
