Each season we offer a diverse array of chamber music, from Vivaldi to Brahms to improvised music for silent movies. Showcasing Canadian performers, we present baroque repertoire on period instruments, commission and perform new Canadian works, and explore the broad depth of repertoire in between. Concerts are frequently enhanced by talks from scholars or musicians.</p>\n<p>The shared experience of enjoying live concerts enriches individuals and strengthens communities. Therefore, we are committed to working toward a more just, equitable society, embodying our belief that access to art is a human right. In 2022, our <i>Open Doors</i> initiative was created to support barrier-free access to our concerts.</p>\n<p><i>Open Doors</i> helps ensure that the Niagara community is able to experience<b> </b>exhilarating, engaging, moving, truly glorious music, irrespective of means. We now offer “Pay-What-You-Choose” tickets on the day of each performance.</p>\n<p>Encouraged by new faces and positive responses, we are expanding our <i>Open Doors </i>commitment, introducing Adaptive Performances, concerts sensitive to and welcoming of neurodiverse audiences and the differently-abled. Future plans include seniors outreach and community performances.</p>\n<p>Featured musicians include professionals from the Niagara Symphony, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, and many smaller organizations in the Golden Horseshoe.</p>\n<p>The Gallery Players serves as an umbrella for two chamber ensembles, <a href=\"https://www.eyblerquartet.com/\">the Eybler Quartet</a>, and Glissandi, and produces deeply researched recordings. "<p>The Garden Club of Toronto is comprised of over 300 members and volunteers who inspire our community through a focus on floral artistry, horticulture, community and environment projects, with a commitment to education and charitable activities.</p>\r\n<p>Over our 70-year history, Garden Club of Toronto members and volunteers have created, restored and revitalized over 40 gardens in the Toronto area – from small scale gardens like those in June Caldwell Park, to large scale projects such as the restoration of the gardens at Casa Loma. In all, the Garden Club of Toronto has invested over $22 million in today’s dollars in Toronto-area projects benefitting charitable and civic organizations. We like to think we are helping to beautify our City, and protect our urban environment, one garden at a time.</p>\r\n<p>Garden Club of Toronto members and volunteers are also active helping smaller charities plan and plant gardens that provide outdoor space and solace to their residents – such as the gardens of the YWCA shelters on Elm and Woodlawn Streets. Our outreach volunteers give numerous floral design and horticultural workshops to isolated senior citizens, women living with cancer, and women with disabilities in the GTA. Working with plants and flowers in a safe and supportive environment, with other women facing similar issues, brings joy and comfort to those facing issues of health and social isolation.</p>\r\n<p>In addition, our teaching garden at the Toronto Botanical Gardens hosts more the 6,000 children annually in nature-related educational activities and summer camps.</p>\r\n<p>We have the expertise, talent and commitment to help beautify high-priority neighbourhood gardens, to provide the right space for environmentally based education, and to bring colour, comradery and joy to women who face illness, isolation or physical challenges. </p>\r\n<p>But we need your help. For as little as $15 you can help provide the plant material needed to provide one women with the joy of working with flowers at one of our outreach workshops. A gift of $100 can help fund a student to learn the joy of gardening and producing healthy food.
