As an ensemble and artistic institution, it presents concerts, publications, and educational academies centred on historical performance and creative research under the leadership of artistic director Elinor Frey. Accademia de’ Dissonanti refers the learned society of the same name founded in Modena, Italy in the early-1680s, and sanctioned by Duke Francesco II d’Este in 1684. Its meetings stimulated discussions on music, poetry, and other subjects connected to the d’Este family. In June 20203, Accademia de' Dissonanti released their first CD, Jean Baur: Chamber Music, winner of the 2024 Opus Prize for Early Music CD of the Year. has followed its mission to alleviate poverty through education by supporting over 4,000 young Kenyans to post secondary graduation. ACCES receives applications each from secondary school graduates who qualify to attend college and university but cannot pay the tuition and other fees. Presently, up to 100 new students per year are granted post-secondary scholarships. With your financial support we would like to do more. You can choose to make a one time donation or a regular monthly donation. </p>\n<p> When ACCES awards a scholarship, we make a commitment to support each student through to graduation.
