The shelter is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The shelter can accommodate up to 24 women and children and has a common dining room, large children’s playroom, and living room and laundry facilities. Trained counsellors offer information, make appropriate referrals to community agencies that include assistance with legal issues, locating housing and offer daily counselling sessions to both women and children.
