The mission of the organisation
\r\nThe Ste-Catherine d’Alexandrie Community Center is a social environment opened to everyone, with no discrimination, where community leisure is used as an important tool when being proactive in the fields of education, social awareness, promotion of healthy living, and community action. With this approach, which encourages active participation from its members, our community center’s main goal is to improve the quality of life of its participants and encourage personal growth for everyone.
\r\nObjectives
\r\nTo achieve this mission, the Ste-Catherine d’Alexandrie Community Center has set itself the following objectives in order to guide its counselling:
\r\nLe Centre communautaire de loisirs Ste-Catherine d'Alexandrie est un milieu de vie ouvert à tous, sans aucune discrimination, où le loisir communautaire représente l'outil privilégié pour agir dans les domaines de l'éducation, de la prévention sociale et de la promotion de la santé, de l'action communautaire; dans une approche favorisant la prise en charge par le participant et dans un objectif global d'amélioration de la qualité de vie collective et de développement intégral de la personne.
\r\n\r\nObjectifs
\r\nAfin de remplir sa mission, le Centre communautaire de loisirs Ste-Catherine d'Alexandrie s'est fixé les objectifs suivants pour guider son intervention :
\r\nThe Flying Canoë Volant is our favorite moment of winter: four special days where we bring light and mysticism to the long nights at the end of January. We are deeply grateful for your support and presence at the festival. You come with your family and friends, share your photos and enthusiasm on social media, look forward to maple taffy or stop at CAFÉ bicyclette, join in the dance and applaud all the performances. There is nothing that compares to the magic of arts, intercultural exchanges and our community coming together.
\nFor this magic to continue and in preparation for our next edition, we need your help. Every donation, big or small, helps illuminate our winter nights and maintain free access for all. Together, let's continue to create unforgettable memories.
