The Canadian Clock Museum - Canada's only clock museum, and the only museum in the world telling the surprising Canadian clocks story - started its 27th year in January 2026.
\nA non-profit Canadian company, this unique museum opened to the public in May 2000 to showcase and research Canadian clocks from the early 1800s to the present time. Since then more than 17,000 visitors have toured the clocks-filled exhibits. The collection now holds four thousand clocks.
\nAlso highlighted are many period artifacts - including working old record players - that place the various clocks in historical context.
\nAnd countless people have taken the Virtual Tour on our web site (www.canclockmuseum.ca). Many have sent e-mail requests for information about inherited and found clocks through the museum's web site.
\nAllan Symons, the museum's founder, Manager, and Curator, has now published twelve articles about Canadian clock companies and special clocks in the Pennsylvania-based NAWCC Bulletin for watch and clock collectors around the world. More are currently in draft form.
\nDonations are gratefully accepted to help pay for new acquisitions, and tax receipts are issued annually.

\nWe are working to change that.
\nCMV Canada focuses on:
\n- Raising awareness through public education, healthcare provider resources, social media, and national campaigns
\n- Supporting families with caregiver tools, local resources, and peer connections
\n- Advocating for change by pushing for universal newborn CMV screening across all provinces and territories
\n- Funding research that advances vaccine development, screening, and treatment options
\nCMV is common and often goes unnoticed in healthy people. But for pregnant women, especially those living with or caring for young children, it can be serious. CMV spreads through saliva and urine, and the risk of transmission during pregnancy is 1 in 4.

\n*The CCB BC-Yukon Division is a non-profit organization registered federally with the Canada Revenue Agency and provincially as a Society in BC.
\n*The CCB BC-Yukon Division offers a voice for blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted individuals - young and old - throughout BC; as well as providing education and resources for neighbours, family and friends; with the potential of benefiting every community within BC and the Yukon.
\n*The CCB BC-Yukon Division offers peer support and social recreational opportunities for the blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted.
\n*The CCB BC-Yukon Division provides advocacy and accessibility locally and provincially for the blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted.
\n*The CCB BC-Yukon Division facilitates public awareness and education at community events and open houses.
\n*The CCB BC-Yukon Division manages a website, Facebook page, and Instagram page to facilitate the exchange and sharing of information for the blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted as well as for their families, friends and neighbours.
