The Canadian Deafblind Association - Saskatchewan Chapter Inc. provides Individualized programs that honor the unique needs of persons with Deafblindness, while advocating for optimal independence and quality of life that ensures dignity and respect.

CDBA will provide each Individual with Intervenors who mediate between the Individual and their environment.

The focus of the Intervenors is to “Do With, Not For.” This entails supporting the Individual to do as much for themselves as possible and to encourage learning and growth on a daily basis. It is strongly felt that the Individual with Deafblindness should not be denied pleasures simply because of their disability.

About the Canadian Ecology Centre

The Canadian Ecology Centre is a non-profit outdoor education facility in Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park, near Mattawa, Ontario. For 27 years, we’ve offered hands-on learning experiences connecting people of all ages to nature. Following a major storm in June 2025, our campus is being restored, with a soft reopening planned for January 1, 2026. Your support helps us continue inspiring students, families, and communities through environmental education.

Our Mission

The Canadian Ecology Centre Education Foundation was created to support the CEC’s educational programs, including trip and bus subsidies for school visits, financial assistance for families attending camps, and funding for equipment and new programs. In light of the recent closure, the Foundation is also raising vital support to sustain the Centre until it can fully reopen.

Le Centre d’écologie canadien est un établissement d’éducation en plein air à but non lucratif situé dans le parc provincial Samuel-de-Champlain, près de Mattawa, en Ontario. La Fondation d’éducation du Centre d’écologie canadien a été créée pour soutenir les programmes éducatifs du CEC, y compris les subventions pour les déplacements et le transport des écoles, l’aide financière aux familles souhaitant inscrire leurs enfants aux camps, et le financement du matériel et des nouveaux programmes. En raison de la fermeture récente, la Fondation mobilise également un soutien essentiel pour assurer la pérennité du Centre jusqu’à sa réouverture sécurisée.

The Canadian Foundation for Animal-Assisted Support Services (CF4AASS) is a nationally registered charity that promotes the credibility and significance of Animal-Assisted Human Services (AAHS) to enhance public safety, the well-being of Canadians, and the welfare of Human Services Assistance Animals (HSAA).

The charity’s programs include, but are not limited to, stakeholder collaboration, hosting special events, advocacy, outreach and education, research, and the co-development of voluntary national standards that outline essential service delivery requirements (operational benchmarks and metrics) to advance AAHS across Canada, fostering One Health for People, Pets, and Partners™.
