The FORT is a not-for-profit charity youth centre that proved free programs and services for youth ages 11-18 in West Niagara. Over 10,000 youth visitors every year come to the FORT for free after school programs, life skills workshops, mental health counselling, field trips, employment help, crisis response, and more.
\r\nThe FORT relies on the support of our community to keep our programs FREE for all youth.
\r\nAs the only free, full service youth drop-in resource centre within West Niagara, the FORT is proud to provide a space that youth can call their own!

\r\nThe Fort Erie Spca is a charitable not-for-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of all animals and to promote humane treatment of all animals. The FortErieSpca provides a home for all the animals that have been abandoned or lost until we can find a suitable and loving home for them.
\r\nThe objects of the Fort Erie SPCA are to prevent cruelty and to encourage consideration for animals by encouraging and assisting in the enforcement of all laws which are now, and may hereafter, be enacted for the protection of animals; by securing by lawful means the prosecution of all persons violating such laws; and by means of literature, addresses and other forms of publicity to create and sustain interest in animal welfare. We provide animal rescue and control as a means of protecting all animals and as a necessary service to our community.

\r\nThe Museum was built and first opened in 1957. In 1973, to celebrate the centennial of the formation of the North West Mounted Police, the Fort formed its Mounted Patrol and a year later began performances of the NWMP Musical Ride, and has proudly kept the tradition to this day.
\r\nThe Fort houses 8 buildings with 11,000 artifacts and extensive archives and is the original location of two of the oldest buildings in the area, the Fredrick Haultain Law Office and the Fred Kanouse Trading Cabin.
