At the Young Bosses in Business Foundation (YBIB), we’re on a mission to empower and inspire the next generation of business leaders. We believe that youth entrepreneurship is not only a powerful way for young people to learn, grow, and innovate, but it’s also an incredible way to create lasting change in our communities. Our foundation is built by youth, for youth (with the help of adults, of course!), providing young entrepreneurs with the tools, mentorship, and hands-on experiences they need to turn their ideas into thriving businesses.

Through our innovative programs like the Youth Market, Mini & Young Bosses in the Making, we offer a dynamic environment where young entrepreneurs can thrive, develop leadership skills, and connect with others who are equally passionate about making a difference.

MEET OUR FOUNDERS

YBIB was founded by two youth entrepreneurs, Sariah and Ariella, who are deeply committed to supporting young people in their journey toward entrepreneurship.

\n

As youth who have experienced the challenges and rewards of starting and growing businesses, they saw the need for a platform that would empower youth with the skills, mentorship, and resources necessary to succeed.

\n

Their personal experiences and drive to make a positive impact in the community led them to create YBIB, a youth-led charity that provides young people with the opportunity to learn, grow, and lead.

\n

Together, Sariah and Ariella’s passion for youth entrepreneurship, combined with their own experiences as youth entrepreneurs, has shaped YBIB into a thriving, youth-led organization.

They are dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation of business leaders, one young entrepreneur at a time.

So many Canadians right now are experiencing what caregivers go through all the time: social distancing, isolation, financial distress, fear, anxiety and worry. Now imagine being a young caregiver during this time of uncertainty and worry! Our staff are working hard to continue with our important impact on the lives of young caregivers. We need your support!

Who We Are:

\r\n

Young Caregivers Association is recognized nationally as the leader in service, awareness and empowerment for young caregivers and their families. Young caregivers are children and youth ages 5 to 25 who are family caregivers for loved ones with illness (physical and mental), disability (physical or intellectual), addictions or a language barrier.

\r\n

Young caregivers are a hidden population of family caregivers and experience a range of risks that include increased stress and depressive symptoms, low self-esteem, high anxiety levels, loneliness and isolation and difficulty relating to peers. Our unique program called Powerhouse is  designed to empower young caregivers while teaching them skills to help them be successful at home and school.

Our belief that caregiving is a family effort is the backbone for all we do along with the view that young caregivers are experts in their own lives. Our vision is a Canada where young caregivers and their families are recognized, supported and empowered to achieve their full potential.
