The Safer Tomorrows through Education and Play (STEP) Program offers a safe and stimulating environment for children and youth in grades 5 through 12.  Through academic tutoring, leisure activities, and workshops, the S.T.E.P. Program allows participants the opportunity to increase their self-esteem, build upon their life skills, and develop a vision for their future. The STEP Program and its individual components are offered to the community as a FREE service in an effort to remove barriers and provide youth with an equal opportunity for success.

SLST operates the OPTIONS Diversion Program for persons before the courts in an attempt to assist them redirect their lives and prevent future conflict with the law.

SLST has a residential program, Crossroads which is a 14 bed community residential facility that assists federal offenders reintegrate into the community.  We offer a home-like atmosphere, which provides a structured environment and intensive case management services.
