As part of Calgary’s 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness, Keys to Recovery provides permanent supportive housing to adults who were chronically homeless and would otherwise be discharged back into homelessness upon successful completion of addictions treatment. Clients are provided with an apartment (either single or double occupancy) and whatever support they need to remove any barriers to regaining their independence and maintaining their sobriety.

Keys to Recovery offers a multitude of services to assist clients in maintaining their housing and regaining their independence, free from addictions. There is no maximum length of stay. All services are offered in the clients’ homes.

Addictions, Housing, Aboriginal (available to everyone), Justice, Vocational, Mental Health, Case Management

We permanently end homelessness for adults who have completed addictions treatment and would otherwise be discharged to the streets.
