In January 2016, Roberto and Kim Alomar started up Foundation 12, a Canadian charitable organization serving youth baseball players.  The mission of Foundation 12 is simple, “to create and support signature programs that empower youth baseball players and offer them an opportunity to improve their quality of life”.  Foundation 12 will focus its efforts and programming to help youth baseball players in Canada with financial assistance, program support, and educational opportunities.
